For 2018, I wanted to take New Year’s Resolutions to the next level. Why not attempt to make more than one positive change in your life? I’ve decided to divide my personal goals into 4 categories: Mental Growth, Physical Health, Career & Success and Expanding My Horizons. Each month, I will have a new goal relating to each of these categories for a total of 4 goals per month, for 12 months: 48 New Year’s Resolutions.

Since I may change and grow throughout the year, I decided to just create the goals for January to April to start off. Then, in April I will re-evaluate and make my next 4 months of goals. I can’t wait to look back and see which of my 48 New Year’s Resolutions were successful.

At the end of every month I will write a post about how I put each goal into place and whether or not I found it effective. I am really looking forward to this year and I encourage everyone to make at least one goal for the upcoming year, or, join me in the 48 New Year’s Resolutions Challenge!


Mental Growth: Learn a New Language – Italian

Physical Health: Plank Challenge – 2 x 2 minutes every day

Career & Success: Budget & Limit Spending – no restaurants or impulse buys

Expanding Horizons: Try Foods & Recipes- 5 new foods & 5 new recipes



Mental Growth: Retreat – vacation for mental wellness

Physical Health: Raw Vegan Diet – 2/3 meals every day and all snacks are raw

Career & Success: Grow Social Media Platforms – increase followers & make content

Expanding Horizons: Travel Somewhere New – 25th birthday trip



Mental Growth: Minimalism – Spring Cleaning/De-Cluttering

Physical Health: Less Make-up – Very minimal make-up, Increase skin-care

Career & Success: Songwriting – write 5 new songs

Expanding Horizons: Get a Tattoo – New ink



Mental Growth: Reading – Read 3 Books

Physical Health: Yoga – At home & In class

Career & Success: Album – Finish my CD

Expanding Horizons: Practice an instrument everyday – Guitar or Piano
