I have learned that not every day is going to be the best day. It is normal to have ups and downs, and to have the occasional period of time where we might need a little cheering up. Sometimes, however, we don’t always have loved ones around to rely on in order to feel better. This is why, it is important to have a list of things you can count on to bring you guaranteed happiness for when you’re feeling down.
Of course, everyone’s list is going to be individualized to whatever makes them happy. It could be a combination of items, self-care rituals, tv shows and more. Anything that you know will bring you guaranteed happiness in a time of need.

Remember, it’s the little things in life that can bring you guaranteed happiness. Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of self-care or relaxation to bring you joy and comfort.
Scientists have said that you can control 40% of your overall happiness just by choosing how you spend your time and what thoughts are running through your mind. If it all possible, when you are feeling down, make a conscious effort to choose joy. Get out your list of things that bring you guaranteed happiness, and pick something that will bring you immediate joy.
I realize happiness is not as simple as an on and off switch, but knowing what little things might cheer you up even the slightest bit can really help.
