What exactly are positive affirmations?

An affirmation is a short phrase that can be repeated in order to train new though patterns in the subconscious mind. Positive Affirmations refer to the process of self-empowerment via this positive thinking method. Scientific studies have also proven that those who use positive affirmations perform better under stress.

Some believers say that by repeating positive affirmations and putting your desires out into the universe, you will manifest them into reality.

Welcome to Manifest Success: Day 2 – Positive Affirmations

The positive affirmations listed below are from the powerful book, “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay. Lousie is a Religious Science Practitioner who believes that harmful thought patterns can block yourself from healing.Positive Affirmations

While reading through the list below, find a few phrases that truly resonate with you. In order to create new, healthy thought patterns, you must take note of the ones that you have trouble believing. These are the ones you should consider focusing on, as they may be your limiting beliefs. Should you choose to try positive affirmations, I hope these are helpful for you in your journey to Manifest Success!

  •  I trust my inner voice
  • I am powerful and capable
  • It is safe to be who I am
  • I am in my perfect place
  • I am willing to see my own magnificence
  • It is okay to be heard and seen
  • I am at home in my body
  • There is time and space for everything I want to do
  • I am worthwhile
  • The world is safe and friendly
  • I can easily and comfortably release that which I no longer need
  • I joyfully run forward to greet life’s experiences
  • My thinking is peaceful, calm and centred
  • I claim my own power
  • Only right action is taking place in my life
  • I have the power, strength and knowledge to handle everything in my life
  • I forgive myself
  • It is safe for me to succeed
  • All I need is always taken care of
  • I go beyond other people’s fears and limitations
  • There is enough for everyone
  • It is safe to grow-up
  • There is joy in every day
  • The universe totally supports me
  • I give myself permission to be all that I can be
  • I adapt easily to the new
  • Every experience is perfect for our growth process
  • I am structured and balanced
  • The past is over and I am at peace

Out of that list, the two affirmations that are most challenging for me to believe, are:

  • I am powerful and capable
  • There is time and space for everything I want to do

I am truly going to try and repeat these positive affirmations to myself in order to change my thought patterns and create a healthier mindset.
